What personal data we process
This website processes personal data in two situations.
Job applications. When you complete the form on the Careers page we receive your name, email address, the position you are applying for and your message. If you send your CV by email, we also process the information it contains.
Server logs. The infrastructure hosting the site keeps technical records such as IP address, date and time and the page requested, for security and service continuity.
Apart from this, the site uses no cookies. There is no visitor tracking, behavioural measurement or advertising measurement.

Legal basis
Data submitted through the careers form is processed under Article 5/2-c of Turkish Law No. 6698 (directly related to the formation of a contract) and on the basis of the explicit consent you give through the checkbox on the form. Server logs are processed under Article 5/2-f of the same law (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We use the following service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare — website hosting
- Web3Forms — delivery of the application form
- Google — the email account that receives form messages
- Microsoft — the firm’s email infrastructure
Their servers are located outside Turkey and your data is processed solely for the purpose of providing these services. We do not share your data with any other third party, do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
The maps on the Contact page are loaded from the site’s own files. Your browser connects to Google Maps only when you click a map or the “Open in Google Maps” link.
Retention
Job applications are kept for no longer than one year after the assessment is complete and are then deleted. If you ask us in writing to delete your data earlier, we will do so. Server logs are kept for the period set by the infrastructure provider.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom the data has been transferred,
- request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request erasure or destruction within the conditions set by the law,
- request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- object to a result against you produced solely by automated analysis,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage because the data was processed unlawfully.

Write to info@somslegal.com or send a written application to the address above. Applications are answered within thirty days at the latest, in accordance with the Turkish Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
