Azra Erözler Oğuzhan

Azra Erözler Oğuzhan graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 2003. She completed her secondary education at the American Collegiate Institute in Izmir.

She practised at Postacıoğlu Law Office as an attorney at law and trade mark attorney between 2004 and 2015, and has been a founding partner of Soms Legal since 2015.

Her practice covers intellectual property rights, communication and media law, advertising law, trade mark registration and protection, contracts, agency and distributorship, franchises and franchising, commercial law, and maritime and yachting law.

She attended the programme on contracts in foreign trade, dispute resolution and international arbitration led by Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem (2004) and the ICC PIDA programme on the negotiation and drafting of international contracts (2006). She also took part in the British Turkish Lawyers Association events on legal issues of common interest (2006), alternative dispute resolution (2008) and its arbitration clinic workshop (2009).
